Browning X-Bolt Max Long Range 308 Winchester/7.62 NATO Bolt Action Rifle - Stainless/Silver, 26" Barrel, 4+1 Rounds, Synthetic Stock

This is by far my favorite rifle I have ever owned. The stock shape is absolutely wonderful and I’ll never go back to a traditional stock. With this rifle in 308 I can load my ammo to be near the rifling and still fit easily in the magazine. I have found this to be the most accurate 308 I have ever owned or shot as well. Ammo feeds like butter from the mag, bolt operation is quick and smooth, and the fit/finish/quality are extremely good. The only thing I am not fond of is the trigger, and I have replaced mine with the Timney and absolutely love it. I would, at a minimum, install an Mcarbo trigger spring if not the Timney trigger. I now have three of these exact same guns - 6.5PRC, 6.8 Western, and now 308. I love them all, they all shoot extremely well, and I’ve had no problems of any kind. I also have no problem carrying them hunting, they are not bull barrel target guns. If you buy one, get it from Bud’s. They are the most awesome dealer ever.

Haven’t been able to shoot the gun yet but the fit/finish are everything that you would expect from Browning. Shipping/service was excellent and very quick from Buds.
