  Hi Brian, according to Savage (and they should know their own guns), all Savage Axis models have a long action. The overall action length will be 6.961” for all calibers.
  The removable trigger guard piece determines size of the magazine, and that will determine the size of caliber types you can use . Long or short action . A very unique way of using one action for both sizes

  For this upc number it does have the accu- trigger, does not have the accu-stock.
