the Springfield 10mm RO Elite is made (fitted and assembled) in GENESEO, Ill from frames and slides forged in Imbrel, Brazil They have enough work done and USA parts (safeties, spring and others) to them in lLL. that they are "Made in the USA"

Derrick, this Springfield 10mm RO Elite is made GENESEO, ILL.

Which position is safety on, up or down? I have a M&P 45 and when the lever is up its in safety mode which I usually inadvertantly push safety because of grip. I do not like the safety being in the up position.

safe is up like on all 1911s down is fire many (me included ) of us 1911 guys shoot with our thumb on top of the safety

Joseph, the "On Safety" Position is in the up Position.

Fit and finish was flawless, truly a beautiful firearm that captured attention at the gun counter as well as on the range! Only regret was that I only had 200 rounds with me! Firearm functioned flawlessly and tamed the 10mm quite nicely. Super accurate and my accuracy at 25 yards was way better than I expected. This is my first 1911 platform firearm as well as first 10mm and not disappointed on either front.

This is my first purchase at Bud's and I am extremely happy with the entire buying procedure. The Springfield 10 mm pistol that I purchased is all that I thought it would be. I am extremely happy with the entire process. I will definitely recommend using Bud's to friends. Will definitely use Bud's again for my gun needs.
