Great entry level do all shotgun. The 2.5x scope mounts directly to the mount attached to the barrel, so it should hold zero, although I can't speak to this as I haven't zerod in the scope, switched barrels, shot the field barrel, and switched back to the slug barrel to verify this. The rifled slug barrel is 24" long and heavy, making it a lot less handy than my old 18.5" 870 slug barrel. The barrels are easily swappable, the trigger is decent, and switching comb height is easy.
