Bought this gun for my son when he was 5 years old, he used it to kill his first deer , he is 9 now and bigger so the gun will grow with him, it is a great gun. Got it in 6.5 Creedmoor.

I purchased this youth model in a 6.5 creedmore. I purchased this for myself not a kid. I needed a hog rifle that was affordable, but one that would also work in a small pop-up blind. This did the trick. The smaller rifle is lighter and easy to carry through the woods. It came with a scope that works great for what I need. The adjustable trigger was also a bonus. This shoots like a much higher end rifle, but at a budget friendly price point. This has quickly become my go to gun.

This is an excellent firearm for the money. For the money you get fluted bolt and barrel drop out mag,metal swivel studs, and adjustable trigger. It has a dead ringer brand scope that I will change out soon for a Nikon or Leupold. The 6.5 has recoil like a 243 but with more power excellent combo for my son on whitetail and hogs maybe even a black bear.
