I have read some pretty bad reviews about cmmg barrel quality. I want a sub moa @ 100 yards. Does anyone have the any additional info about the barrel rifling or a reveiw on this rifle. It newer and I cant seem to find anything.

My understanding is the bad rep concerned a single batch of barrels, several years ago. But we all know how things 'explode' on the internet - sometimes deserved, sometimes not. I would have no qualms in purchasing this rifle, and feel confident it would be "MOA accurate" I've owned a couple of SMMG barreled uppers, and never had any more problems than with any other comany's. This rifle features a 24" 416 Stainless Steel heavy taper barrel in .308 Win with a black SBN treatment and a 1:10 twist rate.. It has an aluminum RML M-LOK hand guard and a Geissele SSA Two Stage Trigger. A fixed position Magpul Precision Rifle Stock provides a rock solid shooting platform.
