Bought this as my new ccw. I have larger hands and the 8 and 9 mags work perfect for me. 8 for concealed, and 8 or 9 on the range. gun is very easy to sight on target. i’ve only put about 100 rounds through it but have no complaints. if you’re looking for a ccw and have larger hands, i’d highly recommend.

Have thought about buying an XD for years. Finally did. This is a good gun. Hundreds of rounds later, I can say It functions flawlessly with any type of 9mm ammo. The quality of build is very, very good. The flush fit mag with the option of the 9 round mag is a great idea. You can carry it, then at night put in the extended mag, add a light and presto! a good nightstand gun. When we start traveling again I will likely use it that way. Is there a downside? Yes. Like any compact single stack 9, it is not a pleasant range toy. The thinner grip pushes hard into your hand. And with +p ammo it really jumps. OTOH, it is lightyears better than the Mossberg MC1 I had last year. I really like the grip safety. and with Glock had this. If you understand the gun's intrinsic limitations, buy it, enjoy it and use it. This one has the tritium front sight-a usable feature, though it obviously is not a top tier sight. Of course, this is not an $800.00 gun!
