The rifle is built to maximize accuracy with a spiral-fluted barrel and bolt, as well as the Model 110 action secured three-dimensionally along its entire length within the AccuStock™ internal chassis. The AccuFit™ system lets hunters customize length-of-pull and comb height of the TrueTimber® Strata synthetic stock. Plus, the user-adjustable AccuTrigger™ offers a crisp, clean pull critical for making precise shots at extreme distances. Rifle is fantastic, a tack driver. Lightweight and everything one would want for Colorado elk hunting. However, I continue to have trouble with Buds on getting my FFL license updated. He says he sent in all necessary info to update info. Buds says he didn't, have him contact them as they are too busy to contact him themselves. I prefer to believe my local FFL who I have used for decades. Firearms, for the most part, are a known quantity. Customer service is not and I will not be using Buds in the future. Harvey Lyon

Great looking gun! Shoot great also the only thing I changed on it was the trigger other than that it’s a great gun out of the box

I had a great experience using Bud's to obtain my Savage High Country Model 110. The price was fantastic and delivery was made to a local dealer in just a few days. The rifle itself is great for all users because you can adjust your trigger pull weight, the length of pull on the stock, and the height of the cheek piece. The muzzle brake comes on the magnum calibers. My rifle is a .300 Winchester Magnum and the brake manages the felt recoil very well. This is the second Savage rifle I've purchased and I can tell you they're extremely accurate as well as being affordable.

I'm nothing but impressed with my Savage 110 High Country. The trigger was set to about 2.5 lbs. from the factory (according to my Wheeler Trigger Pull Gage) and is adjustable from there. I didn't see any need to adjust it. The length of pull was just right from the factory but I did add some comb height to get my cheek just right. Adding, or removing, length of pull and comb height are made easy with Savage's AccuFit stock. Got it out to the range and the rifle is *much* more capable than the shooter (at least in my case). I was able, with just a bipod and no bags, to hold just over MOA at 100 yards and around 2 MOA at 200 yards. I'm sure I can get those down to MOA (or better) with more practice and some good bags. At 300 yards I was consistently hitting a 10" (approximate) steel target, again using just a bipod for a rest. Recoil was my biggest concern for the caliber I purchase (300 Win Mag) but after one shot my concerns vanished. Recoil was very manageable thanks to the included muzzle brake and very nice recoil pad. All in all I love this rifle and I will recommend it to anyone!

I'm a big Savage fan and believe this High Country has become my favorite in short order and that's saying something. A quality firearm that so far rivals a few of my custom guns.

Love this rifle! All the options that come with it for the price you use can’t beat it. Plus it is a beautiful weapon. Real test of course is how does it shoot. I have only done a barrel break in so far with cheap ammo and it shot very well. Will be zeroing it in week or two and running different ammo through to see what it like and that will be first real test if it accuracy. But so far I love it

excent shooting sub moa groups at 100 yd berger n barnes bullets work well. bolt release ste up could be better for removing bolt to clean
