  it works with 3 inch and 2 3/4 in shells 3 1/2 inch shells are to long as the gun has a 3 inch chamber

• Q: Is this a SLUG gun for deer or a shotgun for turkeys? Or can it be for both?

  A:

  1st do not fire a slug with the choke removed (No choke installed) you can us it with slugs but you will need to changer the choke to a modified or Ic choke and use the foster type rifled slugs. Screw in choke Shotguns should never be used without a choke in place The tip of the barre is extremely thin and can be easily damaged you will also have problems with leading in the threads if you use it without a choke
