I thought only XDE guns had the double/single action and everything else was striker fired?

Buds frequently has typos in their item descriptions, especially since the panic buying started. I have this pistol and it is a striker fired gun, with a trigger like all other striker fired guns, A little bit of take up, its got a pretty clean break at the wall, the reset was a little mushy for the 1st couple hundred rounds but after the break in period it smoothed out quite a bit and has a nice clean reset and is a super accurate and reliable pistol. I've seen some reviewers on youtube say they had to drift the rear site into place to get it zeroed the 1st time they shot it, but mine was dead on right out of the box.

Ryan, This out of stock firearm is striker fired. Many description of striker fired actions people say single/double because the first part of trigger pull sets the striker and end of trigger pull releases the sear to release striker to fire. This firearm is not classic DA/SA. It is striker fired.

Does it come with 2 barrels (threaded and non-threaded)?

Aniceto, both are included. In addition, a non-threaded barrel is provided for those who would like to swap between using a suppressor or going without, or for those frequenting restricted states where threaded barrels aren’t legal.

I already own an XDM9201HCSP. I am wondering if the slide and barrel are compatible with and fully function if interchanged?

Purchesed the Springfield XDM, OSP for A few reasons
High Capacity 19+1 , Use of Red Dot Optic , Threaded barrel for future Suppressor. 1000 rounds with zero failures of any kind .
Very Smooth Trigher pull , great accuracy and just as important
Looks extra Cool .Comes with threaded and Standard Barrel .
Highly Reccomend this Pistol

This is the 3rd Springfield pistol I have bought and once again a great quality product. Everything I expected when I purchased. Pistol handles well and shoots very good with the suppressor sights. The only issue with this pistol was the screws that secure the filler plate on the slide. When I went to remove the 3 screws to apply my optics the first screw was difficult to remove(extremely tight) but it eventually came out with the tool supplied by Springfield. Not so lucky on the next 2 as both were way over torqued and I wound up rounding off the inside of the torx screw. I was going to send back to Springfield but decided to try something off the wall and used a modified screw extractor to remove and after about 30 minutes was successful in removing without damaging the gun.
