There's two models of this gun, the 11867 and the 12461... the former being about $100 less on this website than the latter. What's the difference between these models? They appear identical...

Aspen, Model 11867 has a S&W PC ported barrel. No other extras. Model 12461 does not have ported barrel, but has extras. 12461 is everyday carry kit including a compact soft sided carry case EDC kit that holds an included Smith & Wesson knife.

Aspen 12461 has a "Standard" non ported barrel and includes the everyday carry kit (S&W knife and Soft Case). The Model 11867 includes a "Ported" Barrel and includes the pistol but no everyday carry kit..

Fit and finish are excellent. Shoots well and I like the PC trigger upgrade. Only problem is my 75 yo hands. The thumb safety is so tight it takes a lot of effort to disengage. So far, oiling and working back and forth has not helped. Also, the mags are difficult to load to capacity. Purchased a mag feeder but last two rounds are almost impossible to secure. Purchased two aftermarket mags that are much easier to fill and feed the gun just fine.

I absolutely love this pistol, feels great in the hand & the sights are incredible. The cuts in the front of the slide give a dope ass look. Completely satisfied with this purchase, highly recommend it. On the contrary, if I did have to choose one thing I didn't like about it, I'd say it's not having the different inter-changeable back-strap options on the grip. Thanks buds, I'm sure we'll be doing business again very soon!
