This 1911 functioned flawlessly out of the box as far as feeding, ejecting and so forth and shot a nice tight group. This 1911 is a fine looking sidearm and is unique in appearance. There were, however, three issues with this weapon: 1) The finish seems very susceptible to scratching with very little pressure. 2) The pistol did not take all 1911 magazines, in that they were so tight in the well that full ceding was impossible. 3) Due to the neutral color, the front sight is damn near invisible and I had to paint it so that there was enough color offset to make proper sight alignment possible.
