I have taken it out several times. Great fun. Be sure to get some extra magazines, you will go through the ammo quickly.

This actually was my first gun purchase ever and the M&P15-22 is perfect for me.Its not to heavy and the red/green dot is not bad also.

I can't remember the last time I had this much fun. Excellent purchase after 500 rds, couple hiccups nothing worth complaining about. My optic was scratched during delivery, the packing was kind of crappy. When the box is closed you can see the bulge from the optic.

It's a great gun for a beginner to firearms to get their feet wet. Or it's also a great gun for those, who are new to the AR platform such as myself. Once I unboxed it and gave it a good cleaning, I took it to the range and ran around 800 rounds through it. It ran flawlessly for me with CCI sub sonic 40 grain that I used. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who's looking for a reliable, inexpensive gun to shoot with
