Ruger 8368 American Rimfire Target Bolt 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) 18" 9+1 Laminate Black Stk Stainless Steel Ruger's American Rimfire rifle features a patent-pending Power Bedding integral bedding block system which positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling which provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. The American Rimfire rifle also has a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, tang safety, easy-to-use 10/22-style extended magazine release, and a 3/8" rimfire scope base that is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped. This model has an 18" threaded barrel, black laminate stock, and a detachable, flush-mounted 10/22 BX-1 rotary magazine.

I love this little rifle. I'm glad I paid a little more for the Ruger. Nothing against the Savage I was considering, but the look and feel of this rifle is great. I prefer the heavier laminate stock; makes it feel like a better centerfire. Sure its heavier, but it just fits well. It has been flawlessly accurate. Less than 1MOA. Better than I can shoot. I have been trying out a variety of ammo. I have not been impressed with winchester 40g dynapoint white box. Fails to fire often and fails to extract 1 in 10. I have not had a single malfunction of any kind with any other ammo. So not the rifle. I have a can on it and it is very enjoyable to shoot. Still supersonic, but pretty quiet overall.

The Ruger American 22 Magnum Target rifle is very well made. The fit and finish is good, trigger pull is good. I put a Simmons 3x9 scope on it and took it to the range. From the bench it fired a .5 inch group at 25 yards and was very close at 100 yards. I only shot Hornady 30 grain V-Max rounds through it so far at around 2,200 FPS. This rifle with these rounds shoots exceptionally well, it will do better with a real precision scope. Great job as always Ruger!!!
