  Hi Rick, yes sir, the front sight is pinned. You need a hammer, a pin punch set, and possibly a small block of wood to stabilize the work.

• Q: Looking for this revolver in the silver finish, I used to have one that had a slightly different colored cylinder then frame and it was one of my favorite guns but I can only seem to find the black on on buds.

  Hi Trevor, Taurus does not make the concealed hammer model in stainless.
  You would need the hammer version to get a stainless color.

  Timothy, this can only shoot 38 special, it cannot shoot 357 mag. This is rated for +p loads though. Hope this helps.
