The finish is very nice. The gun has a good weight. The only negative aspect of the gun is the take-down pin seems really flimsy. I thought my pin may have been broken, but I believe it is manufactured that way.

My first single action revolver. The feel is great and it works as it should. I tried 4 different brands of .22 the first time I shot it and had no issues. Some of the comments I read and videos I've watched said it shot low left. When I first shot it I was actually high right and 7 and 10 yards. I made my own adjustment lookng down the sight and was able to hit almost center mass. I'm new to revolvers and single action but overall for the price you can't beat this little plinker. Ruger nailed it with this beauty.

This is a fun little plinking gun. It's a cheaper alternative to a Ruger Single-Six. Although, it's not bad at all and compares well to the Single-Six. I don't like the plastic grips, but otherwise I have no complaints. Time will tell how well the Cerakote finish will hold up, but I don't really care. When I buy a sub-$200 gun, I don't expect much. While the frame is an Al alloy and the grips are the dreaded Zinc pot metal, the important parts are made from quality steel. The barrel and the cylinder are steel. It may not be an heirloom piece, but it is fun to beat around and plink with and not worry about scratching it. Opinions comparing this to the Heritage guns are all over the place. To be honest, the newer Heritage .22 revolvers are much improved from what they used to be. I credit that with the introduction of competition from Ruger with this gun. When there is competition, the consumer always wins. It's difficult to decide which I like better now. They are both great guns for plinking .22 in a single-action revolver. I think the Ruger wins for me simply because I trust the name a little more. That is a superficial decision based on guns that are not a Ruger Wrangler. It isn't a totally fair judgement, and I know that. Heritage is getting better, maybe if they continue their effort, I'll buy some Heritage guns soon. I'm not set in my ways. A good gun, is a good gun.

This firearm is amazing! The price is excellent for what you are getting. An accurate plinker that has a smooth action and great trigger pull. The only thing I can even think of that might be a negative is the loading lever is tight and requires some effort to open. But I do think this will break in over time the more I use it. Ruger, you have outdone yourself with this firearm! As usual, Bud's came through flawlessly. You will continue to have my business!

So glad I decided to get the wrangler fit and finish is great for a budget gun. I really like that I can shoot longs, shorts, birdshot and any type of 22. Buds got it shipped out to my ffl in a reasonable amount of time so no complaints there.
