At age 66, this ain’t my first rodeo, and neither is buying guns. With my new Canik TP9 SF Elite I have to ask why anyone would pay more to have a “name brand”. This Canik has all the quality I could desire. It is well built and so far 100 percent reliable and for the price I could not be happier. I’ve got other more expensive 9s, but this Canik stand up to them in every aspect. I’m glad I bought it and look forward to many years of shooting it.

Ok, to start, I have purchased several items through the years from Bud's. With the service that Bud's has, I will continue to do so. The Canik that I received is Outstanding ! I have several firearms that are Much more expensive than this, so I did not expect much. But when I went to the range, I was blown away by how well this thing preforms ! Forget about the price, and just compare it's build quality and accuracy to any of the substantially more expensive firearms on the market. You will be asking yourself, "I don't see the point in spending the additional funds to purchase one of the big brand names.". This thing has an awesome trigger, the grip angle, at least for me, is right on point when pulled from the holster. The sights are extremely easy to pick up, fast, and the magazines are top notch. Now if you do bring the price into account, I can't think of many that I would prefer over this. I have become a collector over the years. I am in my 60's, I don't have a firearm for each year of my age, but I am not far off. This purchase has impressed me.

I compared this handgun to Glock 17 and was surprised to realize that it matched Glock in accuracy, reliability and ergonomics. It actually even a bit better because the take-down lever is bigger, more convenient and doesn't require using thumbnail. And all that for fraction of the cost of Glock!
