Mike, no the grips are the same. These are doublestack magazines, the 10rd mag is the same as the 16rd mag except it is pinned to only accept 10 rounds, so they both fit the same.

no Sir, they are identical. Most manufacturers including Taurus make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.

No, the pistol grips are exactly the same. The only difference is the magazine for states with magazine capacity restrictions and the 10 round one doesnt have a threaded barrel again for state compliance. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately it did not fun the best out of the box. kept jamming and fail to eject, even after lubing and cleaning. Ended up buying a different spring with a -10. know it runs flawless! Great pistol after a fix.

First off, Buds did a great job sending to my FFL quickly! No issues at all. First day I picked the Taurus TX22 up, I took my oldest daughter to the range. We had an amazing time together and it worked great, putting about 200-300 rounds through, no issues at all! I think this .22 pistol is really going to help her to become a better overall shooter, as well as myself! The best part, saves the cost spent on ammo to go to the range more often! I would highly recommend!

awesome full size pistol for .22LR. Very comfortable, shoots accurately. Always tons of fun to shoot. I’ve shot over 500 rounds so far with no issues. Definitely recommend this pistol for anyone that is looking to shoot .22 ammo, but want a full size pistol that fits great in your hand

Bud's did a great job getting the gun to my FFL. They were very efficient. The TX22 is a nice gun. It was accurate, had a nice feel, and little recoil. It would be great for someone of smaller stature. I did have some feeding problems, which I notice have also been mentioned on Youtube, but I have cleaned the magazines which should correct this problem. Also, the loader that came with the gun does not work very well, so I just used the thumb knob on the side of the magazine. I think the manual could be more descriptive in explaining how to break down and clean, but once I did, it was very easy. I would recommend this gun for someone looking for an inexpensive target or plinking gun. All in all I am happy with my purchase.
