Got to say I was impressed with how fast Buds shipped out my gun! I love this rifle. Extremely versatile being 233/556 wylde. It’s a little heavy but not too bad, with that being said it’s my new favorite. Thanks for making this so easy.

I love it!! No FTF or FRE with several ammo brands. Goes bang every time. So glad I bought it from Bud's.

When I first got this this gun the accuracy was terrible. Even with quality ammo my groups were 3-6 inches at 100 yards. I sent it back to Buds since I got the added warranty (what a good decision). They returned it after a few months and now it shoots great. How great? 69 Grain Sierra Match Kings will print 3/4” or less at 100 (5 shot). 73gr ELD-Ms are just under an inch with H322 (8 shot). However ELD-M’s are 2-3” with Winchester 748. 77gr SMKs are about 1” (5 shot). American eagle 75gr total metal jacket do about 1.2-1.5” (10 shot). Frontier 55gr hollow point match do around 1.5” (10 shot). Frontier 68gr bthp do around 2” (10 shot). And Lake City 55 grain does a little under 3” (10 shot). Now a few surprises. This gun did not weigh 7.19lbs or 7.3lbs out of the box. Mine weighed 6.80lbs without magazine. The trigger doesn’t have an advertised weight, but mine breaks at at only 2.25lbs!! That’s probably part of why it’s easy to get so many sub-MOA groups with this gun. The handrail is fairly stout compared to some “lightweight” m-lok handrails. That and a slightly heavier barrel profile makes this thing feel a touch heavier compared to some AR’s. If that’s the trade off for the accuracy, the slight penalty is probably worth it. If the gun showed up shooting as accurate as it does now, I would give it 5 stars. But since I had to send it back first, it drops to 4 stars. For the price I paid ($786 after lifetime warranty and shipping insurance in June 2020) I’m quite happy with it.

Haven't had a chance to put sights on it and shoot it yet, but this was my first online gun purchase and Bud's was good to deal with. I received regular updates along the process and will not hesitate to buy from them again.

I can't complain about Savage rifles. Owning several of their hunting rifles I've definitely become a long time customer. The MSR line of rifles are very nice and the quality is there. Out of the box was no surprise the rifle preformed flawlessly and accurate. The rifle is about a 1.5lbs heavier than most ARs but, soaks up the recoil. Trigger is a little heavy adveraged 5.2lbs but, clean and crisp. I'd definitely would recommend this rifle to anyone starting out or your weekend shooter. I'll be ordering from buds again.

Really impressed with this AR. Approximately 100 rounds fired and zero malfunctions. I’d read some negative reviews on the trigger but mine is excellent breaking at 3-3.25 lbs. It’s very accurate. Average of three 5 shot groups with Sierra 52MK and 22.0 gr H322 is.65”. This rifle is a heckuva deal at the price point. The only negatives I’ve found is the Magpul stock has too much play in it but I planned to replace it. The other thing is it’s slightly on the heavy side. Perfect for me since I plan to shoot at distance and off a rest with it. Buy it, you want be disappointed.
