Are these pistols made under CZ Colt or pre-bankruptcy Colt?

Most likely Pre bankruptcy but there is really no way to fully know without a build date from the S/N in fact the batch they got in could contain both pre and post CZ-colt guns. At least for a while the quality and fit/finish will be the same for the guns as they are the same workers on the same machines made to the same specs

I'd imagine pre bankruptcy doubt cz started pushing them out this quick or atleast in big numbers. The only sure way would be to get the serial number by contacting buds at 859-368-0371. Hope this helps.

Robert, unfortunately, one would need a serial number for the Date of Manufacturer to be determined. Classic Colt 1911. If you're into 1911s and you want an original but new, then this is the one to buy. Feels like a perfect 1911. Has a light and easy recoil spring. And a Colt match barrel. A very good starting 1911, and a nice Colt for the price.

You can't go wrong with COLT and a 1911 all steel firearm. I love this gun, and would buy again if needed. The only thing I will add is the white or green phosphorus front sight. Budd's is great to buy from and offers the CASH price if you use the ACH clearing (debit). They have a lot in stock and great price and availability on ammo too.

Very nice Colt 1911, although its looks beautiful I received a quirky magazine. Finish is nice but I experienced some minor rust spots under the grips after a few range sessions(cleaned up after some elbow grease). I think it's a little expensive for what it is I wanted a true Colt 1911 and I'm still satisfied nonetheless. I bought more for looks than to carry.

The Colt Government is as advertised. It is very close to the WWII US GI, which I own. Slide lock safety slightly larger, national match barrel, straight back strap, striations insted of checkered areas and blued. It is colt quality which is better than most mass produced firearms. I recommend this government model over any others out there. Great price and Colt never fails. Very accurate. John Jackson

The pistol shoot great, but fit and finish or not what I expected the colt Rampart is so poorly stamped into the gun that is snags on material the finishes not a glossy blue, it’s more like a parkerized finish on top of the slide and not even close to blued on the frame the magazine catch required immense pressure to release the magazine. Honestly, I have an SSD that is better made.
