How does the G48 compare to the G19

Duff, the Glock 19 is Overall Length 7.28" - Height 5.04" - Width 1.34" - Weight 23.99 Ounces and the Glock 48 is Overall Length 7.28" - Height w/ Magazine 5.04" - Width 1.10" - Weight 20.74 oz.(unloaded) so .24 inches thinner and 3.25 oz's lighter.

they are very close to the same. The G48 being a single stack mag it is slightly narrower

There compare well, but prefer the 19 over my 48. I have nothing against the 48. I just have so many years experience with the 19.

I was looking at the G48 and saw ameriglo sights were an option. Which sites are installed?

Ameriglo "Bold" sights. Rear sight is 2 green tritium dot inserts and the front sight is an orange fiber optic ring with a tritium insert in the center. Very good quality as every Glock product I own is. Only issue was there was white paint on one of the rear sight tritium dots, easily removed with car key to scratch it off. Much more controlled than a Glock 43. After first 200 rounds put on talon grips to keep from rotating in the hand and really helps compared to the factory texture.

This is my favorite glock now. Allready have the new 15 round magazine's ordered and if they work out it will replace my g19
