• Q: is this a series 70 or an 80 with the firing pin block?
  If you dont know how to check, lock the slide back, flip it over and look at the under side of the slide. If you see a circle like button on the under side its an 80, that the firing pin block, just like on a Glock.

  Hi Jamison and welcome. It has a firing pin block, so series 80. The 80's have the firing pin block to prevent A/D when dropped. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: About how much in general for a trigger upgrade? Parts & Labor?

  Trigger upgrade on a Taurus? I'd just get something with a better trigger out of the box, Girsan, Springfield, are good options. Or You'd need to find a good company or gunsmith that works specifically on Taurus and I've not heard of any.
  But to give you an idea of the range trigger jobs cost I just sent on my SW M&P 2.0 to agency arms to get a trigger jib and milled for an optic ot came out to about $650. I think just the trigger would have been $300. But the M&P is a common gun with lots of available aftermarket parts for upgrade, I don't think there are to many kits available for Taurus, so it could get spendy.

• Q: What items were supposed to be in the carry case? There are two spaces that were empty...one for an additional magazine, and another for the cleaning brush. Were these supposed to be included?

  Geiner, no, only (1) 9rd Magazine is included from Taurus. Extra spaces in cases are usually for Manufacturers to be able to use one case for multiple package configurations. This package is correct. Cheers and stay safe!
