I've always had a "Saturday Night Special" (Raven or Phoenix Arms .25 ACP Auto). Over the years, they have served me well (PTL)!!! That's ALL I am going to say (lol)! Excellent and it has its quirks, but it's not meant to be a "Plinker" (everyday shooter). Thanks!

Nice little pistol. Haven't shot it yet but for the money it's a good little backup to have or if you just wanna target practice. I'm use to bigger pistols but this little thing ain't bad at all. And fast shipping as always with Buds Gun Shop!

I recently purchased this Phoenix Arms HP25A .25 ACP from Buds Gun Shop, and I have to say, the entire process was a pleasure. From competitive pricing to fast shipping and excellent customer service, Buds earns a solid 5 stars in my book. Performance & Reliability: I put 200 rounds of Federal American Eagle Full Metal Jacket .25 ACP and 20 rounds of Federal .25 ACP 45 gr Punch Hollow Point through the HP25A. Out of the first 20 rounds, I experienced two failures to fire (FTFs), but after that, every single round ran flawlessly. Accuracy was outstanding, especially at the seven-yard line and closer, where this little pistol drilled tacks. Even at 25 yards, it performed surprisingly well. Ergonomics & Handling: The HP25A feels well-balanced in hand, making it enjoyable to shoot despite being a compact, budget-friendly firearm. Some people criticize the safety features, and yes, there are quite a few. However, they aren’t enough of a hassle to lower my rating. You may ask about some of the negative reviews about disassembly and reassembly. Not nearly as frustrating as some make it out to be. The recoil spring is a bit finicky, but nothing that makes it a dealbreaker. Final Thoughts: This pistol is so fun to shoot, reliable, and well-built for what it is—even if it comes from the so-called "Ring of Fire" group of firearms. I loved my time with it and can't wait until my next range day. Now I’m eyeing the .22 LR version in satin nickel because of how much I enjoyed the .25 ACP variant. No regrets! Would I recommend it? Absolutely!

Ordering and receiving pistol was quick and easy....and had the best price. This 25 ACP pistol is well made and VERY reliable. It does have two safties....but with normal training and practice.- doesn't pose a problem. This Phoenix pistol, as well as its 22lr. counterpart, are very reasonably priced and reliable....easy to field strip to clean. I'd recommend it to train new shooters or carry for an EDC weapon....it is that reliable. Also, Phoenix offers good costumer service. A good deal all way around.

Back in August of 2024, we were in Arizona and our brother in-law met us at the local outdoor range. We brought pistols of various calibers and my 10-22 rifle. My brother in-law breaks out his 25 ACP and my wife and I enjoyed shooting it in so much that we wanted one. So we were hitting several gun Shows here in Texas with no luck. Found some websites that sold them but were out of stock. Then I by chance stumbled onto budsgunshop.com and they had the Phoenix Arms HP25A .25 ACP 3" in black and very reasonably priced and we purchased it online and it was shipped out to our local gun shop. We purchased it just for plinking around when at the range. It’s a great little pistol had we have enjoyed it! Again budsgunshop.com provided excellent customer service and it was shipped to us quickly! They kept me posted every step of the way from purchasing, shipping, and tracking! We are looking at another Walther and plan to use there layaway!

Wasn’t very impressed to be honest already had to replace the mag release already.
