The SGA Stock is an ambidextrous, user-configurable buttstock designed to add much-needed adjustability to the tried and true Mossberg 500/590/590A1 12ga series of shotguns. Featuring a spacer system for length of pull adjustment, improved grip ergonomics, recoil-reducing butt-pad, optional cheek risers for use with optics/raised sights, and other accessories.

I got this item and the associated fore-end and installed them onto my Maverick 88. Its looks great and is way better than the stock buttstock. Very easy to install and the functionality is superb.

It's a Magpul SGA Stock. Not much I can say that others haven't. Ordered Friday and on my doorstep Sunday.

Works awesome on my 590a1. Very good fit and finish and makes the gun even more ergonomic to use and cycle. I ordered the stock and forend together and they allowed me to shorten the LOP and add a light with the m-lok points. Very pleased with the product.

I had bought a Older LE Cruiser (Mossberg 500 12 ga. with a pistol hand grip) model an decided to make some upgrades for use as my Home Defense gun...I wasn't sure that the pistol grip would be right for me so I went looking for what to replace it with...Normal stock, Tactical (AR style) stock or the Magpul 490 in FDE...After watching many YouTube videos and listing to opinion's and reading many reviews, I decided the Magpul was the way to go for me...I place an order with Buds and it arrived in the two week (14 business days) time frame which they stated it was taking because of all the delays caused Covid-19 problems...After watching several installation YouTube videos (while waiting) I began the installation...They give you all the wrenches you need to accomplish the installation and other than small frustrating job of tightening the ¼” Hex bolt that holds the stock to the receiver (Very tight work environment...about an 1/8th of a turn on the Hex head with the Allen wrench...ugh)...in less than ten minutes it was tighten and the only thing left for me to do was to install the LOP shims...I needed all four (for 14" LOP) and I was done (15 minutes) and it looks great and feels great...5 stars for a another good looking and well-made product from Magpul.

The magpul stock for my mossberg 59A1 arrived fast and intact. The stock was easy to put on and it looks great.

I love it! Love doing business with Buds. No matter what I find I always check with Buds for the best price. Installation is a little tricky, the hex key is a little long and clumsy but will work with patience. I also love the feel of the stock. Most things Magpul are a winner.

Aloha, the Magpul SGA stock fit my Maverick 88 easily. Once, I was able to unscrew the original butt pad, and then get to the big screw attaching the stock to the 88, it was easy. Watching the YouTube videos helped. Now my Length of Pull is just right, and the textured grip on the SGA feels secure. Having a built in sling attachment is a plus, too. Bud's price beat all the other sites that I visited...and I trust Bud's :).

Absolutely love the look of the SGA stock. I like the Flat Dark earth look against the black color of my shotgun. I wanted an adjustable stock for my Mossberg, but I didn't like the pistol grip. The pistol grip makes it awkward to release the safety. I also bought it because the stock that came with the firearm was long. My arms are not that long, so the length of pull is better with this Magpul stock. It does come with spacers to add more length to it. The butt pad is also more comfortable in the Magpul than the original stock.
