Poor fit, bought a few, and only one actually fit without slamming it into the receiver. Not exactly what you want to be doing in the deer blind opening morning.

Purchased 2 of these, after researching Ruger's site for the absolutely CORRECT part no., for a RAR All-Weather in 7mm-08 Rem. This is the latest style mag, that staggers 4 rounds (no more rotary-style follower). My rifle originally came with the "first" style rotary mag with SS follower, which has served me well, but I wanted spares.
Both mags fit in rifle precisely, and locked in perfectly with a satisfying click. The VERY FIRST round top-loaded into each mag was very stiff, after that noticeably easier (for a man, MIGHT be a problem for a woman or child). Both mags accepted 4 rounds properly, both mags fed all 4 rounds flawlessly into the rifle cycling the bolt for each round beginning with a full mag.
Zero complaints here.

This is not a very good magazine or the one that came with the rifle..
It fits the magazine well poorly does not latch consistently and does not reliably feed hornady 6.5mm creedmoor ammo into the chamber
From my observations at a retired military small arms weapons engineer multi caliber magazines are not very reliable especially plastic ones.

Factory magazine. Just like item shipped with rifle. Good value. If you want a spare magazine for your Ruger short action bolt action rifle this magazine is the ticket.

Exactly like the factory original. Just what I needed.
