First time buying a gun online. Process could not have been smoother. The pricing is great and the Savage came fully set up and bore sighted just in time for my son to use it for his first youth deer season. The website did a great job explaining the process and timelines and received multiple order updates. Will definitely be ordering again!

I took it to the range yesterday for the first time. It only took about 8 shots to get 1/2” groups. My 14 year old son had a blast shooting this rifle. My first shots were 145 grain target ammo, and once I got that on the bullseye I switched to my hunting ammo, 180 grain Winchester XP. My second shot was straight through the bullseye at 100 yards. Super accurate, very light, easy to shoot. The bolt is a little stiff, but I think it will loosen up as I shoot it more. I can’t wait to take this back to Iowa for deer season.
