Bud's service was great as usual. Timely shipping and gun arrived at my FFL dealer in good condition without issue. My first range outing with this gun was an exercise in frustration. Gun would fail to go completely into battery about every other round. Had to give the back of the slide a slight nudge to have it go fully into battery, then press the trigger and fire. Went through this procedure for 50 rounds, hoping it was maybe a break-in issue.
Came home from the range and gave the gun a very thorough cleaning. Gave it a light lube and went back out to the range to test for function and reliability. Put 90 rounds down range with no issues. The G3 is fairly accurate. The trigger takes a little getting used to. Long, light take-up, then it feels like you hit a brick wall before applying more pressure to have the shot break. Gun feels good in the hand. Everything else is about what you'd expect from a budget gun, such as sights, fit, and finish.
If you're on a budget, feel more comfortable with a gun that has a manual safety, or just want something that you won't cry over too much if it gets stolen, then this might be the gun for you.

Hard to beat for the price.
Sights are basic but functional and the trigger is surprisingly smooth.
No issues with the first couple of mags of white box shells.
The simple addition of the trigger finger dimple for safety is a great feature.
It’s large & heavy enough that it would be difficult to use as a fully concealed weapon in my opinion.
Still I have no regrets about the purchase.

Great buy. I have the all black one and now the stainless. Buds once again fulfilled my expectations 100 %. Awesome shooter this is.

This is my 2nd. G3. That's how good it is! This platform is affordable and accurate. I highly recommend the Taurus G3.

now this is (to me) the best firearm I have right now. Edc!!!! Lightweight 15/17 mags. The grips are so intuned with year hand. Lol I encourage all to test fly the baby. Thanks bud this is the pick of the litter(right now)

Taurus hit it out of the park with the G3 model. 1000rds and zero malfunctions... The key is to get use to the trigger.. There is a long take up, but a light pull from there. I trust this pistol enough to use it in rotation for my edc.
