  Gene, yes this is perfectly fine to dry fire. If you plan to dry fire it alot I would recommend snap caps, if you aren't going to alot really no reason for snap caps. Hope this helps.

  Yes, this is ambidextrous. The safety is on both sides and you can switch the magazine release button to either side. Hope this helps.

This exemption includes FEDERAL law enforcement officers residing or working in California. ●Law Enforcement (including federal) can purchase non-compliant ARs and so-called “assault pistols” as long as the firearm is being used for duty use only. Department letterhead required and must ship to a dealer with an “assault weapon” permit. ●Law Enforcement, Judges, and District Attorneys are able to have ammunition shipped directly to them with proper credentials on file. ●High capacity magazines can also be purchased, however they must be shipped to an FFL. Credentials need to be on file prior to shipment. ●Active LE are able to purchase stun guns, TASERs, defense spray, and batons. ●Certain entities (departments or city/county offices) and sworn officers (individuals) are eligible to purchase “off-roster” handguns. These entities/officers must have satisfactorily completed the firearms portion of a training course prescribed by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training pursuant to CA Section 832. • Q: What is the trigger pull on this weapon in pounds?

  Jerome, The 9mm SHIELD EZ has an excellent, crisp, light trigger as well. Trigger pull is smooth with modest take up and breaks at a clean 5.0 pounds with a rapid and audible reset. Recoil is very light.

• Q: What is the difference between a sig p226. And sig p229 ????

  Kevin, The only difference between the P226 and P229 is the length of the barrel/slide and the mag capacity. The 226 will have a slightly longer sight radius, approximately 1/2". The 226 with a longer barrel, will have a slight velocity edge with the same ammunition. The frames differ only in length and the width of the grip (the P229 is a tad wider) but not much.

  Absolutely, the slide is easy to pull back and the recoil is soaked up nicely.
