This S&W M&P9 Shield EZ 9mm is a perfect pistol for use as a conceal carry weapon. It is small enough to conceal easily but feels like a larger pistol when being fired. The trigger pull is very smooth the recoil is limited and easy to control. I highly recommend this weapon especially for women to shoot or anyone to use as a conceal carry.

This is my second EZ9 2.0. I loved the first EZ 9 2.0 I bought here about 6 months ago I bought one for my daughter.
We use these pistols for home defense. My daughter and I are new shooters and had the honor of being taught by Bill,
a US NAVY Underwater Certified Small Arms Expert. Bill tried our pistols and thought they were an excellent match for
my daughter and me. He particularly liked the trigger and that we could use these pistols for concealed carry.

Great EDC piece. Checked it over and fired it; all good and functions as expected.
It truly is easy to cycle and the hand grip fit my hands very well.
Excpect this to last a long time.

I would recommend this gun for women because of how easy it is to handle, perfect weight.

This is my first firearm and it is amazing. I have put about 500 rounds through it in my pistol class and range practice without any misfires. Excellent pistol with solid grips that make this feel solid in the hand. Glad I got this for my concealed carry!

I don't know what kind of magic they used to make this weapon so easy to rack the slide but it works! There are smaller pistols out there for concealment but they're no good if physical problems cause you to be unable to work the slide. If that is your case then I highly recommend the Shield EZ. It functions and feeds everything I've run through it with zero malfunctions. Excellent trigger and just an all around solid firearm.

This is my first gun, I bought it for self-defense and chose this model for the ease of operation.
At 65 with arthritis, the M&P Smith & Wesson 2.0 9mm EZ is easy for me to operate. The slide
is super easy to pull back and the magazine guides make for easy loading.
I had the honor of being taught by a Certified Naval Underwater Small Arms Expert-Bill. Bill
was a submariner in the US Naval Sub fleet for years and is a great teacher. Bill tried my Smith
and he liked the trigger and the overall performance. He showed me what my Smith could do
at the range. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Well made gun. Shoots well and we have fired over 300 rounds through the gun with zero issues.

My dad's 70 year old hands love it. He cant rack the slide on his 45 xd. he has no problem with the EZ. Shoots great, he likes the sights.

This is a great pistol with an excellent value and an absolute recommend for new shooters or shooters with limited hand strength or disabilities. The slide as the name implies is easy to manipulate and has small protruding ramps on the rear of the slide to allow for a good grip. The slide also has front serrations however they are more for aesthetics and are not very large but the slide is so easily manipulated, you can still perform a press check from the front of the slide even with the serrations. For size reference, the length and height are almost identical to a Glock 19 so it is not the smallest thing out there, and while it feels very nice in the hand I do feel for the size, Smith and Wesson could have squeezed an extra 2 rounds into the mag. The mags are a little weird, if you%u2019re a more experienced shooter, the traditional way of loading your mags on this model is actually a little difficult, the springs are quite heavy and I actually found myself using the tabs on the side of the mag to pull down the spring to load. The grip safety is my only legitimate concern with this pistol. I am 5%u20199 and have medium sized hands, I have never had issues with other firearms that have back strap safeties like 1911%u2019s or the Springfield XD line, with the Shield EZ however I really had to concentrate to ensure I was pressing the backstrap in completely and had a few issues while shooting. Overall it is a great gun and was completely reliable aside from the few issues here and there with the backstrap and would have no reservations about buying this gun again.
