Order got to my local FFL within about 3 days. I like that too. Buds was right on top of it.
Now, the Tavor.
I really like the fact that it is short but (in my case) still has a 16.5 inch barrel. I bought it mainly as a home defense weapon and due to the length of the entire riffle being slightly over 26 inches, it fits that niche very well. I also wanted a riffle that can fire 5.56 and .223 ammunition. I have fired both types through it with good results. I've used the flip up sights (built right into the picatinny raiil) which take a little "figuring out" but they are easily adjustable for windage and elevation. This version of the X95 has a mag release much like an AR and it is ambidextrous. The safety is very easy to reach but not in the way. The majority of the weight is toward the back so it sits very snug into your shoulder. Since the front is lighter I don't get as fatigued trying to hold it on target. Field strip and clean is really quite easy. It goes back together just as easily. I really have a lot of fun target shooting with it and it causes quite a "buzz" with the other shooters at the range. And hey!! It just looks cool!
I honestly never thought I'd be able to buy one but "went for it". Not sorry at all. I just installed a new red dot and magnifier on it so back to the range to zero it in. Any excuse to go to the range... right? :)
Fitted with a mepro 21 it will ring plates at 500 meters on a 108 ft zero. More comfortable and compact than my ar without sacrificing any accuracy. If you can get one you won’t regret. IWI makes the best proven tested battle rifles.

A:Yes, this has a matte black finish with a rough (looks like sandpaper up close) texture to it. The finish withstands abuse really well. I hope this helpsSee 2 more answers | -

A:Hector, no, you cannot without buying extra parts. You would have to purchase a left handed bolt wich I can't even find a left handed bolt in stock anywhere. Looks like iwi wants you to send them the firearm to convert it into left hand, so don't believe they even sell a conversion bolt separately. I'd just recommend buying a left handed version straight from the factory. Sorry but hope this helps. Here's a link to the left handed version if interested.............. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/11969/iwi+us+inc.+tavor+x95+bullpup+left+hand+5.56+nato+16.5+threaded+barrel+black+30rdSee 2 more answers | -

A:Sean, sorry but this is not legal in any way due to the Pistol grip, threaded barrel, flash hider and 30 round magazine. Sorry but hope this helps. Here is a link to new Yorks restrictions....... https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_york_restrictions.pdfSee 2 more answers | -

A:Ashley, yes you can shoot either .223 or 5.56 with this gun. If a gun is rated for 5.56, you can shoot either one, but if it is rated for .223, you should not shoot 5.56 from it.See 3 more answers | -

A:True, anything lacquer coated will start gumming after the chamber gets hot. This quality a weapon should only see brass cased ammo. Race car, race gas and not regular test. This will eat anything brass. I would not put any steel cased fodder through this weapon.See 1 more answer | - Show More Questions
