Bergara B-14 HMR Wilderness 308 Winchester/7.62 NATO Bolt Action Rifle - Gray, 20" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, Synthetic, Gray Stock

Very accurate rifle. Only complaint is the stock had a slight wobble on the cheek piece.

I have been very pleased with this rifle. My only complaint is about the bolt. It has some play in it when pulled to the rear, which causes it to get out of alignment and lock up a little when trying to push it forward. The gun is extremely accurate with the Hornady TAP 168 grain bullets I shoot. It wasn’t the most accurate out of the box, but it tightened up after about 30-40 rounds of breaking it in. The muzzle brake is very loud and I chose to go with the thread protector. This also seemed to improve the accuracy. It’s now shooting ragged holes at 100 yds.

Unboxing of this rifle went as expected. Love the rifle’s look and feel. The gray cerakote looks great in person. Only one range trip and about 50 rds in. Initial groupings were about 1.5-2.0 MOA but cleaned up around 35-40 shots and with Sierra Match Kings 168 grain. Now shooting right about 1 MOA...but I’m hoping for better. I did need to remove the spacers for better fit and was disappointed to find out I needed to order shorter screws from Bergara. They couldn’t include two 5-cent screws!?!? The other item I don’t like is having to drop the cheek pad to remove the bolt. You’ll need to mark it to replicate placement quickly. A very small design adjustment would have corrected this. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this rifle.

Extremely happy with this rifle. It looks amazing in person and with the break, does not boot ya. Little wait for shipping but with COVID, it’s expected. Buying process through Buds was superb. I’ll buy more through them as most stores don’t carry much these days
