This review is in no way a reflection on Buds. I've always had a great experience with my purchases, the support team, and overall product delivery, and I will continue to purchase all of my firearms from them in the future. That said, I am highly disappointed in the overall quality of the weapon and customer service that I received from ATI. When I picked my weapon from my FFL, I noticed some scratches on the rear of the slide. I didn't give it too much attention at the time, but when I got home, I thoroughly inspected the weapon and found that the entire slide was scratched in multiple areas, and the finish was coming off in spots. I also noticed that the rear sight was shifted to the left, which was not a big deal, until I discovered that I couldn't adjust back. I then took the weapon apart to give a thorough cleaning, which after 7 soak pads, I finally got the barrel somewhat clean. At this point I'm very skeptical about the overall quality of the weapon (I get it, it's a $400 .45) so I contacted ATI directly to voice my concerns. This was a monumental waste of time, considering they took the weapon back, reparked it, and finally sent it back to me (after several unanswered emails and phone calls over a 2-week period) in almost the same condition. Fast forward to the range last week. I can't get through an entire factory magazine without a failure to feed or failure to eject happening, so I did the next best thing and purchased an aftermarket 10 round mag, and that did not solve the problem. Anyway, the weapon now sits in a box on my top shelf, and I can't see me using it for anything else other than a paper weight moving forward. I've considered contacting ATI AGAIN to see what they'll do about it, but after my first encounter with them...I'll just pay for someone to fix it from here.

Solid 45 acp. Kinda gritty to begin with I had to polish it up inside for the slide to work properly. Was rough racking the slide in the begin. Good shooter Accurate. Over all well worth the price tag. Feels great in the hand and i love the flat top on the slide. Highly recommend this one to a friend.

As a beginner to 1911s and also not a very big fan of single stacks. I I was skeptical esp with ATI being new to the 1911 game as well thought I would give this hybrid a chance and let me tell ya. Great feel to the gun pictures don’t do it justice! My only complaint is the safety keeps engaging due to high placement on dovetail. I’m hoping an upgrade of parts should deter it from happening in the future or maybe a Dremel will to the trick . Great gun can’t wait to get my hands on their double stack variant!!!!! I took a flyer on this one and was pleasantly surprised. It's been 100% reliable so far (only 250 rounds). It's very light and accepts most 1911 accessories.

I had the same issue with changing the grips. The housing bushing stripped out and the slide is pretty tight. That said I still love this gun. Its very accurate looks great and the polymer frame is nice. ATI hit a home run with this innovative 45acp. I would definitely buy again and Buds is still the best.

I wish I had not bought this gun. As soon as I took a screw off to change the Grips the housing screw came out. So we need to purchase a new piece. The slide is ridiculously tight to slide back to chamber a round. I never liked ATI AR15S. Should have know better. Better guns for that price. Avoid this one.

Absolutely beautiful shooting pistol. It ate everything from the cheapest Tula Ammo to Sig Elite JHP with zero issues 250 rounds without ftf or fte. Awesome purchase from Buds. Thanks Buds Gun Shop for excellent sales and customer service.
