The stock has a little hole in it to accept quick detach/qd sling mount. So all you'll have to buy is a qd sling mount and a one point sling. Hope this helps.

Yes that's good to go as long as you use buds "high capacity removal service" (it'll walk you though it at checkout) I have the 18" version of this rifle and it is a fantastic shooter, with some really great features, the furniture is 1st class the 5R rifling and 1:8 twist, the rifle lenght gas system, chromed bcg, you may want to switch the muzzle brake out for a flash suppressor (i have a YHM Phantom on mine), and throw a light and some sights on it and its ready to rock.

Yrs sir, this is an upgraded model over the 8500, it features a free floated barrel (which will improve accuracy) optics ready (low pro gas block, and railed/mocked handguard) B5 systems furniture (instead of milspec) a Ruger Elite 452 2 stage trigger, and Ruger muzzle brake. And yes this will shoot all 223 and 556 i have had 0 failures with mine (i have the 18" barrel, but still very similar rifle)

AVOID. Ruger for a long time has been suffering from QC problems and this is no exception. I had given up on Ruger years ago, but this AR got good reviews on Youtube, so I gave it a go. HUGE cosmetic blemish in the finish forward of the ejection port, about the size of a dime. Within 250 rounds down range, the dust cover cir clip disappeared and cover came loose. Screw for ambi-safety followed suit. Barrel suffers from subpar accuracy with all loads tested, averaging about 3 MOA. Buy a radical, and spend the rest on ammo.

I got this Rifle for $732.00 out the door including shipping. Rifle arrived quickly with no issues. Upon inspection there were two small imperfections on the mlok hand rails. Informed Buds about this and they said I needed to reach out to Ruger. I sent Ruger a email and know they are sending me a new handguard. Over all I'm happy and I think I got a killer deal for 732 dollars out the doors. Thanks BUDS

To start with, kudos to Buds for not only having a great selection of rifles to choose from, but also at the lowest prices around. The rifle was shipped and rec'd within 3 days, something that is rare with any online store. The rifle came in a foam filled box and inside another box. It came ready to fire.
