• Q: Is this compliant with Maryland Heavy Barrel requirements? Previous posted questions say yes but I don't see it on the Ruger site. Is the barrel stamped instead?

  Hi Rick, no sir, this model does not have the heavy contour barrel. There are no MPR models with the heavy barrel. There is a Standard model and a Free Float model with HBAR & MD compliant.

• Q: Is the trigger adjustable from 4.5lbs to a lower setting? I'm not familiar with this trigger setup on an AR.

  Hi Leonard, The Ruger Elite 452® AR-Trigger is a two-stage trigger that offers a smooth, crisp, 4.5 pound trigger pull. It features a full-strength hammer spring for consistent primer ignition and a lightweight hammer that enables a faster lock time for improved accuracy.
  It is not adjustable for a lower setting.

  Hi Joseph, it is compliant except for the 30rd magazine. If you buy it, Bud's will remove the magazine and you will have to get your own compliant magazines.   Yes, this is a 5.56 so it can safely shoot 5.56 or 223. Hope this helps.

  The stock has a little hole in it to accept quick detach/qd sling mount. So all you'll have to buy is a qd sling mount and a one point sling. Hope this helps.

  David, yes it can. Any 5.56 rifle can also shoot .223, but not the other way around.
