Does the 18.5 inch 590a1 come with a bayonet lug?

No it does not, only the 20" 9-shot models have a long enough barrel and magazine tube for the bayonet lug. The shorter barrels like this one don't leave enough space for the rear lug as the forend would hit it when cycling.

Solid Shotgun, great size and nice to have the m-lok front end. Unfortunately mine came with a small bur on the magazine release so it is having a problem cycling the next round but mossberg is handling it and sending me the new parts so customer service is great as well. Feels sturdy in the hand and everything else is smooth. 10/10 would recommend even with my issue.
