Like most of my purchases the Mossberg 6.5prc rifle was a deal I just couldn't pass up, especially at Buds sale price. I mounted a 4x12x40 scope on it and had it zeroed in nine shots, the last three grouping less than 11/2 in.....more than adequate for deer hunting. As usual Mossberg has made a great firearm, Redfield made a great scope, and Buds had a great price and great service.

I bought this gun for my son and absolutely love it, right out of the box it shot a 5/16” 3 shot group at 100 yards. My father-in-law is the one that turned me on to the Mossberg his to shoots sub 1/2 MOA. Slap a nice scope on it and for under $1000 you have a tack driver!

I really enjoyed my first benchrest session with this rifle! I had read all the reviews on the predator model, so I was expecting great accuracy out of the box, and wasnt dissappointed! After a quick sight in at 100 and generous break to cool the barrel, (while I looked for my cleaning kit to no avail), I slowly fired a 5 shot group at 200 trying for best accuracy, and and allowing 1-to-2 minutes between shots as the barrel is light and heats quickly. 4 holes were inside 7/8 inch, with a called flier that opened to 1 3/8 inch. (the rifle is light, so it doesn't stay planted on the sandbags as good as heavier ones.) One more thing, absolutely no recoil from this rifle, a pleasure to shoot. I would say Mossberg did a GREAT job, and as always, so did Bud's! Fast shipping, no hassle, and great prices!
