Is this the CA compliant version? I know it was only recently added to the roster, I really want one but I don’t know if there’s a difference between this and the roster version

Being a Marine myself, I can tell why we went to this as a sidearm. It is a dream trigger and light reset which I find I never stray from my sight picture between follow up shots. This is the Best pistol I own for comfortability to shoot and modularity to build other calibers and configurations.

Nice pistol, own this one and a M17. Barrel is a bit shorter on this one, but grip is the same, will take 17, 21 rd mags also. My M18 came with (3) 10 rd mags, the california model. No matter, purchased a few 17 rd mags and ready to go. I am left handed, and this is a real ambidextrous pistol, with ambi safeties, reversible mag release if desired, and ambi slide release. One great feature, the slide can be racked with safety engaged, a very nice feature. Sig really came up with top notch designs on these.

The Sig M18 shoots like a dream and is very well designed for tear down to clean. Recoil management is pretty easy, it's lightweight, and I just really like the coyote brown color too. I removed the Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) so I could swap in a threaded barrel for a suppressor I have on order, so that is really the only thing I wish they didn't include on the weapon. If your state allows them, get the version with the 21 round magazines or find a way to get them if you can't order it with them.
