This is an affordable option for all-business carry if you’re a 1911 fan. Full black, rubber grips with texture, Picatinny rail, 4.25” barrel and 2 mags make this a great bargain. Also comes with a bushing wrench and barrel brush.

This firearm is a very nice shooter of what it is. A budget 1911 .45ACP hadngun manufactured in Turkey and imported here to the US. Not knowing much about 1911's to begin with, I learned that this firearm has some nice features that usually only come on the really good name brands out there. Skeletonized trigger and hammer, picatinny under rail, extended beaver tail, adjustable night sights, fiber optic sights, etc. The only weird thing I found is that I can't get Wilson Combat mags to fit in it. Basic generic mags and McCormick mags are just fine. It shoots well. Point of aim is good. Recoil is good.

This has been a solid shooting gun with no problems at all. Seems to shoot everything I've put in it and no jams. Love the gun and love the fast shipping by Buds.

This 1911 from Tisas turned out to be a gem. I didnt know anything about Tisas or their 1911s but the price was extremely affordable and i decided to give it a shot. I was really happy when i got it in hand and the build quality was really good for under a $500 1911. It shot well, was accurate and reliable (i did not use the included mag, i always run wilson combat 8 and 10 rounders in my 1911s. It even had a rail for mounting a weapon light. The only modifications i made to this firearm were switching out the grips to G10 from Lok and adding tritium night sights. Id give this pistol a 8/10 overall, for a budget 1911 its a solid buy.

Not a great gun. Frequent failure to feeds and stove pipes but for the price I figure that's par for the course but today while at the range the piece that holds the spring and guide rod in place came loose sending the end cap and spring flying across the range. Should have saved up a few hundred more bucks and bought an American made 1911. Buds is awesome. Turkish guns are not awesome.

I fired 100 rnds through it and the plunger tube started to fall out. Once the safety was engaged the pin came out and stopped under the safety making it impossible to disengage the safety. Luckily this happened during target shooting. Had my life depended on this firearm I would not be writing this review.
With that being said, this is a solid firearm for less than 500.00 dollars. The slide fit is precise. It feels tight and well made. Had the plunger tube issue not happened I would give it 5/5 stars.
The safety feels a little loose fitting during toggling and the mag eject button was too stiff. I pulled the spring for the mag release and cut off two rings and that helped ease it up a little. I’m buying a new ambi safety, plunger tube, and spring assembly. I hope that rectified the issues.
By the time it’s all said and done I could probably have purchased a nicer 1911. For me, it’s a fun project though.
I did email Tisas about it and they were very prompt to get back to me. They offered to have me ship it to them to fix it but I didn’t want them to put back the same parts it came with. I wanted upgrades and the experience of doing it myself.
Buds service was stellar as usual. I’ve had only good experience with them. Tisas gets an A for customer service.
All in all it’s a decent gun for $500.00. Upgrades are plentiful and fairly inexpensive if a person should want to go that route.

Nice base pistol for building into something great.
pros nice fit on slide barrel and frame, good black finish (not cerikote), thumb safety is nice and has no play, it also has a good 4 pound trigger. makes for a good cheap defense gun once flaws are fixed. and it is accurate and reliable (so far).
Cons grip safety is non-functional, hammer will drop by pulling trigger without grip safety being engaged (likely just a flawed safety that got past QC), recoil spring is terrible...about 30 lbs, magazine release spring is terrible , so stiff it gets painful to release mags at range after a few times. finish is more akin to duracoat, not chemical proof (be sure to use good old nitro solvent and oil on this) more severe chemical cleaning will make the finish soft or possibly fall off. the springs seem to be a common problem as i purchased a duty model prior and it had a @35lb recoil spring and a terrible mag release spring (had to replace entire assembly as it refused to release and screw head stripped)
overall, if you know how to replace the springs (or watch youtube) that issue is fixable for about $16, the grip safety is another $36 and a couple hours with a file fitting it properly (again just find how to on youtube if you feel intimidated) from wilson combat, so for less than $550, i cannot complain. as for myself i have both the Duty and Carry model, and replaced most of the internals, and added a one piece mag well on both, and a compensator on the duty (all parts from Wilson's Combat) and for $800-900 each, total, i have two match grade, extremely accurate pistols. its really a no loose deal if your not bothered by what i described. if you want something perfect out of the box that you don't want to do anything with but shoot once a year, than is probably not your 1911
