I purchased this 1911 as a birthday gift for my husband and its now his everyday carry. He is in love with this gun! We have both tested it out at buds gun range where we always go to shoot and it runs flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone looking to purchase a 1911. The Duty 1911 is a very nice gun and a lot of fun!

First 1911 and it has never failed on me so far. I've ran 1000 rounds through it so far. Worked every single time. Also a very beautiful piece and I get a lot of compliments about it. I prefer this Tisas 1911 vs my Rock Island 1911. My Rock Island 1911 fails to go into battery on many occasions. If I could, I would get the Tisas NightHawk next.

My most recent purchase from Bud's! I love the satin finish on the stainless steel. I have about a hundred rounds through this beauty so far. Such a crisp trigger. Great sight picture and more accurate than I am. The pic rail, extended beavertail skeletonized hammer and trigger, and beveled magwell are all features you would expect on a more costly pistol. Fitment and finish are excellent. Bud's shipping to my FFL was fast and they kept me updated on its progress. Bud's for the win!

I am very happy with my SDS 1911. The fit and finish is very impressive and is comparable to higher end 1911pistols. I would highly recommend looking into the SDS brand if you are in the Morley for a 1911.

Very well made. I have the same model in black that I purchased two years ago. I purchased this one to match it. Both Pistols shoot great and took the Wilson Combat magazines that I ordered for it. I did pay a little extra for the stainless steel and looking the price, it has gone up. I do recommend this pistol, but I would not recommend it over $500 where a lot of Tisas' competitors price their 1911s.

Very nice gun reliable and great shooting experience. No hiccups, no jam and 2 thumbs for the gun and service of Buds. I order again for 2 more Tisas 45 acp . A good firearms to collect.

Did I need another 1911? Well, you know what they say… You can never have too many. Considering all the positive reviews I read about the Tisas1911 Duty, I couldn’t resist. The fit and finish of this gun are on par with some of the high end, high price spreads. So far it functions flawlessly. And considering the price at Bud’s, I highly recommend that all 1911 lovers add one to their collection. Furthermore, the service and attention and quick turnaround I got from Bud’s is well worth doing business with them. I will certainly do business with them again. SM
