Rossi R92 .454 Casull - Stainless/Silver, 20" Barrel, 9+1 Rounds, Wood Stock

Like the rossi levers, wish the price didn't change often. Was waiting for this rifle to be instock for years.

This is my 3rd Rossi R92 and the most fun one yet! It kicks like a mule, but I giggle like a school girl every time I pull the trigger. The Rossi R92s are not generally as slick as a Henry or Ruger Marlin, but if you’re like me and love tinkering, a little polishing and a spring kit will have these rifles running slick as a pin. The .454 will be replacing my 30-30 for deer, hog & black bear hunting in timber. To give an idea of what you’re looking at for performance, I chronographed several Hornady and Buffalo Bore loads and took a 3 shot average. Hornady 300gr XTP are averaging 1,750fps and the Buffalo Bore 300gr Dangerous Game were running an average of 1,730fps. The fit and finish on the current R92’s far better than it was on the first one I purchased over 10 years ago. All in all, these are great little rifles for a fair price. The dinky little safety and buckhorn sights are the main reason I give it 4 stars and not 5, both of which I remove and replace with aftermarket upgrades before I ever fire the gun.

Amazing The fit and finish is, premium. After using, handling the Winchester 92s. This weapon really is a great predecessor. Besides handling the extremely powerful 454 Casull cartridge, and the great old 45Long Colt including the very powerful 45 Long Colt +P loads.

Great gun in a rare caliber. Bud's is great. Lay-a-way, delivery, all around great shop. Been a customer for many years, and plan to be for many years to come.

These R92's are an excellent choice for quality and that feeling of western legend. Add in Bud's legendary service and you've got a combination that can't be beat.

Nice gun. Rare caliber hard to find rifle but Buds came through. Will always turn to Buds when needing a firearm. I like the lifetime repair/replace warranty they offer.
