The AK-103 was one of the last designs overseen directly by Mikhail Kalashnikov within the iconic AK platform. Chambered in 7.62x39 the AK103 returns to its roots and provides the consumer with the traditional round chosen by the Russian Army for decades. Based on the AK-74, the 103 will accept all AK74/AKM furniture and accessories. Features a forged Carrier, 5.5 mm forged trunnion, chrome lined gas system, cleaning rod and side optic rail. Made in the USA.

Quick and easy shipping. Love my kr103. Only true domestically manufactured AK103 because it has the proper bolt with external extractor. Takes a variety of magazines. Barrel is chrome lined. I've put a couple hundred rounds through, no failures. Sad to see kusa go out of business, I hope someone can pick up the pieces someday

I always wanted a AK-47 . I wasn’t sure what brand to get . Something about the look of the Kalashnikov KR-103 7.62x39 .sparked my interest. I’m super glad I bought one . This thing is well made. Cycled a 100 rounds first time out at the range. Used the cheapest steel Cased ammo I had on hand . It is Ridiculous. I just had to add some bells and whistles to her. Thank you buds. Used the three month layaway.

Very well made rifle and hands down my favorite ak ive owned yet. Handles very well and is accurate right out of the box. Kalashnikov USA really nailed it with this one!

After much research on AK type rifles, I decided to purchase this Kalashnkov USA KR103. I am very happy I did. The rifle itself is built with precision and attention to detail. All the rivets, front sight post are perfect. Forged trunnion. The action is very smooth to work as tolerance of machining is as exact as it gets. Shoots fantastic groups with regular steel cased ammo. Good factory trigger. I’m impressed with what Kalashnikov USA has produced and plan a purchase of their 9mm product. Bud’s shipped very promptly as usual.

This purchase from Buds was a complete home run. Build quality is top notch, and the front sight post was perfectly aligned. I can’t speak to its durability or functionality as I haven’t been able to hit the range yet, but first impressions are very promising.
