Federal Fusion Ammo 10mm 200gr Soft Point 20 Round Box - Brass Casing

Purchased these rounds for when we go camping in bear country hopefully won't have to ever use these on a black bear or grizzly.

Reasonably priced full-power 10MM (which is not as easy to find as it should be, really) with a sophisticated bullet technology; the jacketed soft point actually contains a small depression (a shallow hollow-point, in essence) to both ensure some expansion and deep penetration. I'm carrying this in deep woods as defense against black bears (which are really quite unlikely to attack unless you are very unlucky) and wild hogs, which are far more likely to be aggressive, especially in larger groups or sows with piglets. In an SA XDM-Elite, it gives me 17 powerful, but controllable, chances to stop whatever angry/hungry/surprised animals I might encounter, as well as very reasonable defense against two-legged predators, the universal risk.
