This stuff thumps pretty hard. I wouldn't recommend it for a long range session. I patterned it at 15 yards with two shots each through all 3 chokes with my Tokarev TX3. Modified produced the best groups with fewest flyers (1). It also made the biggest holes in the paper from multiple 3-4) pellets hitting together. Full had a nice cluster of 4 pellets from both shots, but the rest went a bit wild (max pattern width 10"). Improved cylinder produced one nasty 4" group and one scattered 12". I'm content considering what I paid. I think it will stop that momma bear that keeps showing up should the need arise (I hope it doesn't). I really need more than two shots per choke before I can say anything too definitive. I was hoping it would be a little tighter but it puts enough pellets where I'm aiming to do the job.
