What is the difference between this and the m12ak-t1 model?

Larry, the only difference is the handguard. For some reason the cheaper one m12ak-t1 has an upgraded mlok handguard. Other than that they are identical. Hope this helps.

I tried to buy the JTS shotgun as well. The price came up different when I tried to buy it. Then I tried to call customer service but my number wasn't in their system. I bought 7 or 8 guns from Bud's last year. What's up can someone call me to fix this.

Yes the VEPR12 is very similar to a SAIGA style shotgun and the magazines should be compatible across the weapons. For the price it would be hard to beat the JTS MK12.
I have no regrets with my purchase of this shotgun and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a shotgun of this type.
That it uses REM Chokes is also a plus.

Good shotgun! It was tight at first - the dust cover took a mallet to open and there were a few failures to eject at first but once it loosened up it has cycled perfectly every time.

So far, i have just been able to test this shotgun. Works well. I tried buckshot and slugs. I set the gas system to 2. Both worked fine. I also tested the 10 rpund magazine that JTS makes for it. Functioned fine. Easy to take apart and clean. I do like the button release for the rear cover. Having a standard Remington choke thread is a plus. I will have to test it more to see how well it holds up, but it looks good so far.

I was shooting Walmart birdshot. Would hang up ejecting each time. Came home, Used a dermal tool on the slides and bolt. Ejects 90% of the time now Still needs work. I know how to use the settings and I know some people only shoot high brass. I want this thing to shoot everything. With more work hopefully it will.
