First of all, I'd like to say "thank you" to Bud's for actually having this pistol in stock and available at a reasonable price. These were very difficult to find in my area, and when they were available, they were nearly $1,000! After several months, I was finally able to take it to the range and try six different kinds of defensive ammo through it. It was DEAD-ON accurate with all but one, which was Hornady's 115 grain Critical Defense load which was just slightly high (1") and left (2") of point-of-aim at 10 yards, which is still more than sufficient for 99% of personal protection incidents. It was 100% reliable with everything from standard pressure 100 grain Frangible HP ammo to Buffalo Bore +P+ JHPs, and recoil was extremely manageable, even comfortable! The only outlier was the +P+ which gave a little more muzzle jump but still not unpleasant! The recoil buffer system H&K uses in their P30 pistols works wonders! I hope my loves it as much as I hope she will.

Fantastic H&K quality and reliability. Perfect CCW pistol. Grip was well designed and had an aggressive texture. With normal magazine the grip was too short for me. But the magazine with the pinky extension made it outstanding. Never a malfunction with any of the ammunition that I shot through it. Highly recommend.
