A nice 1911, but finicky to ammo. Other than that its a great gun.

I am extremely pleased with my Springfield 9MM Ronin Operator purchased from Bud's. It is well balanced, very accurate and handles quite well. For me, I find the 9mm much easier to control as compared to 45acp or 10mm when firing multiple strings. The Ronin is relatively light weight and my gun's barrel length, 4.25", allows for all day concealed carry. Springfield provides only 1 magazine so I have have purchased a couple of extra mags direct from Springfield who offer a discount when you purchase the Ronin. My Ronin did not come equipped with night sites so I plan to purchase Springfield night sites if available or through aftermarket if necessary. I highly recommend the Springfield Ronin to anyone looking for a good 1911 style gun. BTW, my son who has carried a gun for a living for quite a number years currently carries a full size Springfield Operator so I think that speaks pretty highly of Springfield products.

I’ve always wanted a 9mm 1911. This one looks nice and has good reviews. It’s nice to look at and shoots consistently and accurately. I am pleased with this pistol and would buy it again.
