Gen 5.... there is a difference. I pre-ordered a trigger upgrade expecting the same as my Gen 4, WRONG! I sent the trigger back, the Gen 5 Glock feels great out of the box! highly recommend!

Just a very reliable super gun

Verry pleased with my Glock G23 Gen5 MOS. I have a Glock G23 Gen 4 open sites. I'm a Glock guy and I shoot my compact Glocks as well as my longer slide ones. I'm glad Glock decided to make a G23 in a Gen 5 MOS.

Great pistol if you want to have mos model . I got trijicon rmr 2 note you need to buy trijicon ac32064 part to seal the bottom of it . It will prevent flickering and you can submerge it up to 65 ft underwater . Marksman barrel might be more accurate but i heard that because of the groves inside the barrel you might loose velocity up to 100ft . It feels heavier and it is thicker than previous models . As far as holster i recommend getting the one that specifically fits gen 5 models. As far as ammo for self defense i recommend speer gold dot or winchester bonded or anything with higher velocity. If you are the type of person where less is more than skip the mos model and get the regular one. Over all very pleased diamond like coating looks cool in my opinion. Front serration is a nice audition. As far as magazines you really have to stick the last round in it. When keeping one in the chamber and every-time you want to take the round out of the barrel it scratches the shell for me . Its not a big deal but i guess i wont recommend it doing it very often. G23 is great pistol but if you really want something that you do not care about conceivability get the 22 in mos or have both. As far as the g27 in that caliber you really need short barrel ammo i think the best one will penetrate only 13 inches in short barrel variant. As far as holsters kydex is great if you want to roll with bravo concealment most cpl holders like leather because its less noisy. If you want a light get surefire. You can also make it a multi caliber by converting to i think you need the barrel and mag also i would look in to ejector as well when you do so because 40sw gasses have different pressures so it might spit the bullet in different directions.

It was delivered on time and right before Christmas which is perfect since it is a gift for my S/O. He's been waiting a long time for the Gen 5 Glock 23 to finally come out and the fact that he got the MOS version is just a plus especially for the price that buds was selling it for. It was only $12 more than the standard Gen5 G23 not including the $7 for the shipping insurance. I will definitely be using Buds for future purchases. The firearm is in perfect condition, it came with 3 13 round mags, MOS adapter plates, Back straps, and the typical other stuff that comes with a new Glock. I know he will be excited.
