The KATAC 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun from Citadel brings practical performance at an affordable price to the shotgun market. Suitable for hunting from upland birds to large game the KATAC is a multi-purpose semi-auto. With three extended chokes you can easily match your gun to your quarry. I just picked my new Boss Hog 12 ga. SA shotgun today. My gun guy has a place to shoot so I popped off 3 rounds after a quick swabbing of the barrel. My ammo was Monarch 7 1/2 shot 1350 fps. 3 quick bangs and I was on the road again. Fired all 3 shells w/o any glitch. I like the feel of it. It is a rather soft shootin 12 ga. The gas operated recoil seems to work pretty well. It's not my first Semi-auto but the one I had in the 70s didn't feel right so I quickly sold it. This one I like. I recommend it...IF you clean it regularly and use the recommended velocity ammo for break in. It's a keeper.

I was very pleased with this shotgun. I’m not very good at shooting clay’s but with this gun I literally couldn’t miss. I highly recommend this gun. You can’t beat it for the price.

I just left the range with my shotgun and I was so pleased with its performance! I used different ammo (all above 1300 fps) and it operated flawlessly. I tested it hard shooting rounds in rapid succession and it just kept firing. There was no felt recoil, which made it an absolute pleasure to shoot. I will definitely recommend this model to others looking for a semi-automatic shotgun.
