Great compact glock. Super slim and easy concealment. Put a holosun 407k optic on it and a nice rubber grip. This gun has earned a special place in my heart and has become my EDC. Wish glock made extended mags for it though.

My new favorite automatic pistol, The form factor of a G19 with the concealability of a G43 makes this an extremely effective little shooter. Super accurate and comfortable to hold! Throw in the Shield Arms S15 mag and you have (in my opinion) a better a G19!

Excellent pistol for concealed carry , specially for those who likes the Glock 19 size it's just slimmer, just add a shield arms 15 round magazine and you are good to go.

Strictly looking at the measurements you wouldn't think it's that much thinner or concealable than the Glock 19 but once you have it in hand it is very noticeable. Because the grip length is the same as a 19 you will still need similar solutions to conceal it but once you've addressed that it does conceal better than the 19.
The 48 definitely has more snap than the 19 but for a practiced or experienced shooter it is still very manageable and I am able to make quick follow on shots. At 500 rounds in I have had no malfunctions or issues - shooting a mix of brands, cheap and high end ammo, regular and P, FMJ and hollow points, 50gr 115gr 124gr and 147gr.
Probably not recommended but if you already own a Glock 43 the slide will fit and fire on the 48's frame essentially turning it into a 43x. I have personally shot about 70 rounds this way.

The Glock 48 MOS is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It fits my hand much better than the 19, one of my favorite guns. I had previously purchased a 42, which I liked because of the ease of carrying, but I found that gun hard to shoot--despite the gentle .380 round. The little gun was hard to hold. Now that the 48 is in my hands, I feel like Goldilocks. This Glock 48 is not too big or too little; it is just right. I have heard different theories about why Glock designed the 48, and I don't particularly care why. I just know that they made this gun for me. Right now the Shield magazines, which hold 15 rounds, are hard to find. That is okay for now because I have no difficulty getting spare 10 round mags. I have purchased several of them. The MOS cut on this Glock 48 is perfection. It requires no mounting plate if you use an RMSc compatible optic. These are readily available--right now--and many of them allow the regular Glock sights to co-witness through the red dot. Fantastic! While suppressor-height sights are needed on other guns, they are less easily acquired by the eye without additional practice, and they add to the cost of getting the gun ready for carry. With the Glock 48 I find the red dot coming into view naturally, without the need for adjustments in my presentation. And, Buds Gun Shop is a great source for this firearm. I got it more quickly than I imagined. And, I got the gun when other sources were "out of stock" and the gun was generally unavailable. Kudos to Buds. I will definitely purchase from Buds again.
