I have been in the market for a 12ga semi-auto shotgun with 3.5in capability for sometime now. A friend said to check out the gas operation guns from Escort and Im glad I did.Buds had the ExtremeMax for an unbelievable deal so I took the chance, also bought the lifetime warranty from Buds as well.. just in case. After stripping the shotgun down and giving it a through cleaning., which was fast and simple. The shotgun is user friendly from all aspects. Ive ran some 2 & 3/4in lite dove loads through it and was expecting some hiccups. How many other 3.5in chambered guns claim to handle these lite loads well and dont? The Escort ExtremeMax did without any failures what so ever. Ive also tried some 3in turkey, pheasant and waterfowl loads and had no issues with any of those either. Next, I tried about a box of BB 3.5in Winchester Geese loads, recoil was not that bad from past experience with my 870 SuperMag and had no issues what so ever. The gun is truly impressive. It runs like the proverbial Rolex but not near the cost! Im more than a little pleased! Thank you Buds! You've done it again! A quality firearm at an unbeatable price!

Nicely built gun. I have several different shotguns from high end Benelli’s down to H&R’s. This shotgun will shoot both low brass and high brass magnum loads. I have only shot skeet so far but can’t wait till dove season starts to see how it does. On skeet it will go hand to hand with my others.

This a great shotgun for the money. It is soft shooting and easy to take apart and clean which you will have to do more often being that it is a gas operated shotgun. Would highly recommend this shotgun.
